New motions filed in Kellar Branch case
Pioneer Railcorp has filed a motion for clarification and a motion to compel with the Suface Transportation board. Basically, Pioneer wants Central Illinois Railroad Company to provide requested information.

It occured to me that Peoria may need surface rail mass transit in the forseeable future. The Kellar branch seems a nice corridor that will be hard to get back. In fact, I could see the future need to return parts of the existing trail to commuter rail although I doubt the trail people would ever let THAT happen.
